You can now go to the Round Table 25 Bloemfontein website and click on the World Numbers Meeting banner to go to the WNM website and see what it looks like. Not everything on the website is active yet, but it will be soon. We are really working hard on getting it done very soon. The cost for the WNM and Post-Tour will also be finalized soon. Normally the cost is available six months prior to the WNM. Book your airline tickets so long and see you soon.

We are working really hard on the Round Table 25 WNM 2011 and to get the website up and running, but that will still take some time. In the meantime, you can have a look here at the preliminary programme for the meeting and the post-tour. Please leave your comments or ask questions about the numbers meeting. We are really working hard to give you guys the time of your life here in South Africa.

Preliminary Programme: WNM 2011, October 2, 2011 to October 9, 2011

Sunday, 2 October:

Arrive in Bloemfontein and register at RT25 Clubhouse with cocktails and snacks. Evening at leisure with hosts.

Monday, 3 October:

Depart for The Big Hole in Kimberley early morning. Lunch at the Big Hole. Return to Bloemfontein in the afternoon with traditional South African dinner at the RT25 clubhouse.

Tuesday, 4 October:

Depart for Welkom early in the morning to go deep into the core of the earth into a gold mine. Lunch with Round Table 40 and 204. Return to Bloemfontein in the afternoon. Evening at leisure with hosts because you will be really tired.

Wednesday, 5 October:

Depart for South Africa’s biggest dam, The Gariep Dam and Holiday Resort which is about 200km south of Bloemfontein. Have a light lunch at the resort. Go on a tour inside the dam wall and on a magnificent sunset cruise on the dam. Sleep at the resort with a big party in the evening.

Thursday, 6 October:

After breakfast we return to Bloemfontein and go on a tour of the Women’s Memorial and Anglo-Boer War Museum. Then go to host and freshen up for the game drive and visit to a lion farm. Have dinner under the stars at the farm.

Friday, 7 October:

Go on a tour of Bloemfontein and the surrounding township with lunch in the township. Also visit the Welpie Crèche and other projects by Round Table 25.  Surprise dinner and party on Friday evening.

Saturday, 8 October:

Chairman’s meeting at Round Table 25 clubhouse. Other delegates visit the local farmer’s market. Get together for lunch and afternoon at leisure. Gala-dinner in the evening with the induction of the Fartsa (Round Table 41′ers club) national president, Mr Bruce McKay. Live band and performances by delegates.

Sunday, 9 October:

Have breakfast and delegates depart home or stay on for the post-tour.

Round Table 25 WNM 2011 Post-Tour

Very important: We can only organize a post-tour if there is a minimum of 15 people confirmed for the post-tour. You will have to pay an additional registration fee for the post-tour. If you leave a comment here on the blog, please indicate if you are interested in attending the post-tour. The cost will be finalized as soon as we know how many people are interested in attending the post-tour.

Sunday, 9 October – Wednesday, 12 October:

Fly to Cape Town and stay in a local guest house or hotel. Over the three days we will visit some of the best wine estates in the world; visit Table Mountain if the weather permits; visit The Cape of Good Hope Castle; visit Cape Point where two oceans meet and lots more.

Thursday, 13 October to Saturday, 15 October:

Fly from Cape Town to Johannesburg and travel by road to  a private game reserve in the North West and Limpopo provinces for a real South African safari experience.

Sunday, 16 October:

Drive back to Johannesburg and depart home.

It is lovely and warm here in Bloemfontein and we are only two days away from Christmas. A time for family, friends, love and peace.
I hope that all my friends in Europe and Scandinavia do not get too cold.
